At Kupkake Kouture Charlotte LLC, customer satisfaction is important to us. Due to the perishable and custom nature of our products, we have established the following Returns & Refunds Policy to clearly outline how issues are handled.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. All Sales Are Final

All baked goods and custom items are final sale. We do not accept returns on food items once they have left our possession.

Because our products are made to order and often customized, refunds are not issued except in limited circumstances outlined in this policy.

2. Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order immediately upon pickup or delivery.

If there is an issue with your order (such as damage, missing items, or a quality concern), you must:

• Notify us within 24 hours of receipt
• Provide clear photos and a description of the issue

Issues reported outside of this timeframe may not be eligible for resolution.

Once an order has been picked up, delivered, or accepted by the customer, Kupkake Kouture Charlotte is not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, transportation, weather exposure, or storage conditions.

3. Non‑Returnable & Limited Items

The following items are non‑returnable and non‑refundable:

• Custom cakes, cupcakes, and desserts
• Personalized or themed items
• Perishable baked goods
• Sale or promotional items
• Orders placed for holidays, events, or special dates

Shipping fees, delivery fees, and service fees are also non‑refundable.

4. Exchanges, Refunds & Store Credit

• We do not offer exchanges on baked goods.
• Refunds are not issued once production has begun.
• If an error was made on our part, resolution may be offered in the form of store credit, issued at our discretion.

Store credits:

• Are non‑transferable
• Have no cash value
• Must be used within the timeframe stated at issuance

5. Shipping‑Related Issues

For shipped orders:

• We are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses caused by shipping carriers.
• Once an order is transferred to the carrier, liability passes to the carrier.

If an issue occurs during shipping, we will assist you in filing a claim when applicable.

6. Cancellations

• Deposits are non‑refundable.
• Orders canceled after production has begun are not eligible for refunds or credits.
• Cancellations made prior to production may be eligible for store credit only, at our discretion.
